Context
Ongoing work on Zagala — Insurance CRM. When issuing or verifying MTPL, agents still opened UFG and the government vehicle-history service separately and retyped plate, VIN and dates. The panel needed one place that pulls both sources — and then lets them issue an MTPL cancellation without retyping everything into an external generator.
Period: September 2026
Scope
- Vehicle check in admin — one form (plate, VIN, first-registration date, MTPL date) and one run: vehicle history and UFG in parallel.
- Vehicle history — vehicle and timeline data; summary includes MTPL validity, inspection validity and last odometer reading with date.
- UFG MTPL — server-side policy lookup; clear messages when the source rate-limits access or requires extra verification.
- MTPL cancellation generator — “Generate cancellation” checkbox; form wired to the vehicle check, PDF from ready templates (no building PDFs locally from scratch).
- Prefill from UFG / history — plate, VIN, make/model, policy number, MTPL expiry; mapping insurer names to generator options.
- UX — live uppercase for plate and VIN; each new check refreshes vehicle/policy fields in the cancellation form; owner details and article choice stay manual.
- Tests — Feature coverage for lookup endpoints, validation and insurer mapping.
Result
- MTPL and vehicle-history checks run from the panel — no manual copy-paste between UFG and gov.pl.
- The same flow can generate an MTPL cancellation letter, with fields already filled from external sources.
- Agents get a readable summary or a concrete message when the external service does not return a result.
