Context
Part of an ongoing engagement on torimpex.pl (WooCommerce grocery wholesale, since 2023) — this thread: checkout rescue. Takeover after the previous contractor: customers could not place orders — sales were stuck. Without a working purchase path, further catalog and integration work made no sense.

Scope
- Order placement repair — refactor of asynchronous cart logic: timeouts,
async/await, race conditions and form-state overwrites. - Portioned products — correct fractional stock and weight-variation handling for quantities below a full unit.
- Multi-packs and promo codes — fixes for bulk packaging math, discount codes and missing delivery methods.
- Checkout UI fixes — cleanup of view errors in the order flow.
Result
- Customers can complete orders again — sales unblocked.
- WooCommerce checkout rescue — async/race-condition debugging, portioned SKUs, multi-packs.
